At inspection - all areas of the home/building are to be reviewed [Please make all accessible at inspection] test location and types to be determent at that time - tests are sent to an independent testing facility and examined by a Bio-chemist to the nature / spore count and identifying the species - each test consists of a 5 page report right down to the health effects of each spore type - page 4/5 of each report is a statement made "is this an elevated level" answer is YES or NO - one test taken is an outside air test, this is our base line, the indoor air quality should be equal to or better than the outside which is true and natural for that environment
Once the results are in [with-in 5 business days] a protocol is written to the nature and confinement of an elevated level - with this protocol [clean-up techniques] estimates are suggested, - then you decide who you feel comfortable with to complete the clean-up Once a clean-up is complete - BaySide Inspections comes back in and retests - When results are in [no elevated level] a successful clearance is given

If I can talk you through a Mold or indoor air quality problem, I'd be more than happy to. When air testing is done we are looking for things we can't see [airborne contamination] [e.g.: musty odors, allergies] but cannot be identified by a visual inspection.
Air Sampling: The purpose of air sampling is to determine the type and amount of airborne contamination
Tape/Swab Sampling: Tape/Swab samples are usually collected from visible moldy surfaces by wiping the area with a sterile swab. This type of sampling is used to identify specific mold types.
It is impossible to completely eliminate all mold and mold spores indoors. Mold will always be found floating in the air and in house dust. Indoor mold growth can be prevented by controlling water and moisture indoors. [Acceptable Levels]
"What I find is" ----- If you think you have a mold problem, you probably do! Let's find it!!
